Made by Tender Leaf Toys, this is a solid wooden Noah's Ark built from quality plywood and finished in soft, contemporary colours. It comes with 10 pairs of animals — each pair slightly different from the other, which is what makes it properly special — plus Mr and Mrs Noah and a wooden ladder.

You get elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, polar bears, walruses, rhinos, doves, anteaters and running hares. The whole thing arrives in a nicely illustrated box, and it measures 38 x 27 x 29.5 cms, so it's a decent size without taking over the playroom entirely.
