The Enchanted Wood kicks off the Faraway Tree series, and it's the one where Joe, Beth and Frannie stumble across an actual Enchanted Wood near their new home. They find the Faraway Tree itself, which opens the door to all sorts of adventures with Silky the fairy, Saucepan Man and Moonface. Depending on the day, they might end up in the Land of Treats, the Land of Spells, or the Land of Do-As-You-Please.
The Magic Faraway Tree is the second story, and this time their cheeky cousin Rick joins in on the fun. The Folk of the Faraway Tree wraps up the trilogy, bringing Conceited Connie into the mix and giving the three of them even more chances to get into mischief in the Enchanted Wood.
