What you're getting
The Yoto Player (3rd Generation) works with audio cards to give your child access to audiobooks, educational content, music, and activities. They control what they listen to, which means you get some peace of mind knowing everything's been curated for them.
It's straightforward to use — tactile buttons and a pixel display mean even small hands can navigate it without faffing about. There's an ok-to-wake clock for sleep training, a 7-colour nightlight, and a room thermometer built in. You also get free podcasts, radio, and sleep sounds to start with.
The 3rd generation has acoustically engineered stereo speakers, so the sound's properly decent. It's larger than before, which makes it better for listening around the home. The player holds 600 hours of audio storage, so there's plenty to explore as they grow.
Connect it via Bluetooth to use as a speaker, or plug in headphones (3.5mm or wireless). It charges through the included 1.5m USB-A to USB-C cable. You can also manage things from the Yoto App if you want to keep tabs on what they're up to.
What's in the box: the player itself, the charging cable, and a Welcome Card that doubles as a Make Your Own Card template.
