What you're getting
Get your child building something that actually works with this wooden weather vane kit. They'll slot the pieces together, glue them up, and end up with a vane that spins to show which way the wind's blowing—proper learning through doing, that. It's a straightforward build, and once it's assembled, the whole thing stands 13.5cm tall and stays put thanks to the sturdy construction.
The kit comes with wooden pieces cut from 3mm plywood that fit together without fuss. Once it's glued, your child can decorate it however they fancy using acrylic paints and Deco pens (you'll need to grab those separately). Stick it in the garden or somewhere outdoors where it'll catch the breeze, and they've got a working lesson in directions and weather that they've made themselves.
