What you're getting
Build your own working hydraulic claw and actually understand how it does what it does. You'll assemble a 15cm claw powered by nothing but water, which is properly clever when you think about it. The kit comes with everything you need — wooden board, cable ties, hose, syringes, axles, bushings, and instructions that won't make your head hurt.
It's the kind of thing that gets kids genuinely interested in how stuff works, rather than just playing with it for five minutes. You might need to dig out some glue from the cupboard, but that's it. Works just as well at the kitchen table as it does in a classroom.
