What you're getting
You get two kits here — a bug hotel and a flowerpot, both ready for your kids to build and paint. They're made from 3mm plywood pieces that slot together without any faffing about, plus hollow card tubes, and the instructions are straightforward enough.
Once assembled, there's room to personalise them with acrylic paints and Deco pens (you'll need to grab those separately). The bug hotel becomes a proper little home for insects, while the flowerpot — measuring 8.5cm x 15cm — is sized for small plants and flowers. It's the sort of thing that keeps them occupied for an afternoon and actually gets used afterwards, which is half the battle.
