What you're getting
Grab a handcrafted wicker basket filled with six pieces of wooden veg: pumpkin, turnip, mushroom, chilli pepper, avocado and leek. It's part of the Market Day range and works as an accessory to the General Stores stand, so you can set up a proper pretend shopping day with your kids and their mates.
Each piece is carved from reclaimed rubberwood and finished with non-toxic, water-based paints. The basket itself is wicker, naturally, and the whole thing comes in plastic-free, recyclable packaging.
Playing shop builds social skills and turn-taking. Naming and sorting the produce stretches language and vocabulary too — plus it's a gentle way to introduce the idea that veg is actually worth eating.
