What you're getting
The Manitou MLT840 Telehandler is a proper bit of kit if you're after a scale model that actually looks the part. It's built from metal and plastic, so it's got some heft to it without being fragile, and it's scaled at 1/32 so it sits nicely alongside other farm toys.
The telescopic boom does what it says on the tin—it extends and retracts—which is the bit that makes it worth having rather than just sitting on a shelf looking pretty. You get working steering as well, so there's a bit of play value built in if you're the sort who still enjoys moving things around the yard (no judgment here).
It's the kind of model that appeals to collectors who care about the details, but it's also sturdy enough that it won't fall apart the moment someone picks it up. Siku know what they're doing with farm machinery, and this one shows it.
