What you're getting
Get crafty with the Safari Activity Kit. You'll make an elephant, lion, and giraffe, plus there's a sensory activity to keep things interesting. Everything's included for one or two children to work through together.
The lion's all about cutting and sticking tissue and card into a proper mane. The giraffe needs painting and sticking (and yes, there are cheerios involved, though they're meant for the craft, not snacking). The elephant comes with a hat you can dress up in.
The sensory tray lets them explore different textures and play around with the animals, their habitats, and what conservation's all about. Cutting practice helps with fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration — which is a nice bonus when you're just trying to keep them occupied for twenty minutes.
