What you're getting
Two proper Pokémon stories in one book, which is handy when you're after something that'll keep them quiet without costing a fortune. You get black-and-white illustrations throughout, and both episodes are pulled straight from the Master Journeys animated series.
Your lot will follow Ash, Pikachu and the crew as they bump into a playful Grookey, and then join Chloe on her quest involving a mysterious Galarian Ponyta. It's the sort of thing that'll help their reading along while they're genuinely invested in what happens next, because let's face it, familiar characters do half the work.
