What you're getting
This blue whale calf figure has that characteristic flat U-shaped head. At birth it weighs no less than 2.5 tonnes and measures 7 metres. It'll drink between 380 and 570 litres of milk daily and can gain up to 90 kg a day. By the time it's weaned at 7 to 9 months, it's doubled in length and starts eating krill, those small shrimp that whales live on.
