You'll recognise the rules — buy properties, build houses and hotels, dodge taxes and jail time, the lot — except here the properties are actual Winchester landmarks. We're talking Winchester Cathedral, the Great Hall, the Statue of King Alfred the Great, the City Museum, Jewry Street. That sort of thing.

So you get a decent board game night sorted, and the kids pick up a bit of local history without it feeling like homework. Two birds, one stone, really.
