What you're getting

The Micro Balance Bike Lite is your toddler's first proper set of wheels, and it's built to help them nail balance, coordination and confidence through play. The magnesium frame weighs just 2.6kg – light enough that you'll actually want to carry it, sturdy enough that it won't wobble all over the place. That means easier steering, better control, and less of you running alongside looking worried.

The low step-through frame lets little ones hop on and off by themselves, which is genuinely handy when you're out and about. And when their legs get tired mid-walk, it tucks under the buggy without a fuss.

Those 11-inch EVA foam tyres are puncture-proof and need zero maintenance. No flats, no pumping, no standing in the park with a foot pump looking furious. Just smooth rides whenever you fancy heading out.

Both the saddle and handlebars adjust as your child grows, so you're not buying a new bike the moment their legs get longer. The adjustable range is 530–610mm for the handlebars and 310–390mm for the saddle.

Balance bikes work because there are no pedals or stabilisers to hide behind. Kids learn to steer, balance and coordinate at their own pace, building strength and resilience without anyone telling them to sit still. When they're ready for a pedal bike later, the jump often feels natural – many skip stabilisers altogether.
