What you're getting
Twenty-seven hand-painted wooden beads in a variety of shapes and bold colours. The numbers one to ten appear as both numerals and countable dots, so there's learning built into the beads themselves.
Two extra-long laces thin enough for beads to slide through easily. Chunky shapes designed so little hands can actually grip and manage them without wanting to throw it across the room.
It's one of those activities that works on multiple levels – counting, shape recognition, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, creative expression. Best when you're doing it together: sorting by colour, counting groups, that sort of thing.
