What you're getting
Blow into the mouthpiece and you'll get a light show that'll keep them entertained for ages. Press the 8 music keys to play different tunes and notes, and you've got yourself a proper little musician on your hands.
There's Jazzy Cat guiding them through three modes of play. Learning mode covers numbers and colours. Instrument mode lets them explore 8 different instrument sounds — saxophone, accordion, drums and the rest — so they can get a feel for how real instruments actually sound. Then there's Jazz Band mode, where they can play their own part in an ensemble and feel like the star of the show.
Jazzy Cat's there the whole time with encouraging phrases and character songs, which is nice because it actually keeps them motivated rather than just bashing buttons at random. It's a decent introduction to music and rhythm without being annoying (well, not too annoying).
