What you're getting
This mini grand piano's got 37 keys, a matching stool, and a microphone, all powered by four AA batteries. It plays 22 demo songs and offers three educational modes plus record and playback, so they can save their own tunes. Switch between eight instrument sounds – piano, organ, violin, flute, music box, guitar, mandolin, trumpet – or pick from eight rhythms and four drum sound buttons. The lights flash whilst they play, and volume and tempo controls are built in.
You can hook it up to an MP3 device, headphones, or USB flash disk to play along with other music. There's a small storage box built into the panel to keep bits tidy. It enters power-saving sleep mode automatically if left inactive, and assembly is straightforward. Batteries not included.
