This is a Friesian gelding — a horse breed that hails from Friesland in the Netherlands. You're looking at a horse with the build of a light draught animal, but don't let that fool you; Friesians are surprisingly graceful and nimble for their size. Their ancestors were apparently highly prized as war horses across continental Europe back in the Middle Ages, which tells you something about their temperament and capability.
