The chunky pieces press together easily, and you've got both a battery-operated screwdriver and a manual one to tighten things up or take them apart again. Once it's built, they can push it around, pop open the back, fill it with bits and bobs that need recycling, and trundle off to empty the waste.

It's a straightforward way to get them thinking about what goes where and using their imagination at the same time. The set includes the truck itself, the battery-operated screwdriver, a manual screwdriver, and a user guide. You'll need 2 x AA batteries to power the screwdriver (not included). The truck measures roughly 25cm tall, 35cm wide, and 13.5cm deep.
