Blacktip Reef Shark

What you're getting

You're looking at one of the three sharks you'll spot most often around Indo-Pacific coral reefs, alongside the grey reef shark and whitetip reef shark. What sets this one apart is that it prefers the shallower waters, while those other two tend to hang out deeper down. It's a quick, restless swimmer that you might see on its own or with a few mates, though occasionally they do gather in proper groups.
