The Panther—or Black Panther, if you prefer—is a large member of the Big Cat family found across Asia, Africa and the Americas. It's not actually a distinct species, but rather the name given to any black-coloured feline from the Big Cat family, most notably Leopards and Jaguars. These are elusive, powerful animals that've adapted brilliantly to all sorts of habitats around the world, and they're among the strongest climbers you'll find in the feline world.
